WE PROVIDE A VEHICLE RECOVERY SERVICE ON MURIWAI BEACH (NO BOMBING RANGE RESCUES OR RECOVERIES)
Sand dune recoveries are okay with us (no after dark or nighttime service)
Please provide the following when you call us:
- Vehicle Make/Model/Colour (This helps us find your vehicle)
- Registration plate number
- Your location (please give us accurate information if possible. Muriwai Beach is about 28 km long)
- If you entered the beach at Coast Rd entrance, (Down the road from the Muriwai golf course) let us know.
- If you entered the beach at Wilson Rd entrance, tell us if you turned right (North) or turned left (South)
- We work with the tide times.

There are often people that will offer to help you when you get stuck.
Make sure that they know what they are doing especially if you are driving an AWD (All Wheel Drive) type vehicle or vehicles with automatic transmissions. These can be badly damaged if not recovered correctly.
